Cerocshops are intensive four hour weekend workshops that run throughout the year in Scotland. With a maximum of eight-ten couples the atmosphere is very relaxed and the teacher is able to spend some time developing basic style and technique. Click Here to check available dates and Book Online Now!
The Beginners Cerocshops: 1, 2 and 3 are designed for people with very little or no experience of a Ceroc class and give you a bump start to help you on your way. Each course covers up to 8 basic moves and time is spent on how to string them together so that you can 'freestyle' your way through the dance. You can do workshops 1 and 2 (or 3) in any order. Before applying for any of the Cerocshops please call our hotline to check dates and availability. The Intermediate Cerocshops: 1 and 2 are the next stage and assume you are already confident in the dance. They each cover up to sixteen Intermediate moves and the pace is more upbeat ! We recommend a minimum of three months of Ceroc before attempting an intermediate workshop. Classic Intermediate workshops 1 &2: A different concept, using Classic intermediate moves that everyone should know! Learning the original as well as many variations. A great way to improve your leading / following as well as musical interpretation. You can do workshops 1 and 2 (or 3) in any order. Before applying for any of the Cerocshops please call our hotline to check dates and availability. *NEW* Focus workshops: A very targeted two hours of learning and practise covering technical aspects of dancing such as: Lead, Follow, Connection, Frame, footwork, Spins, Turns, Style, Posture, Balance, etc... (Regular Sunday afternoons, followed by Tea-dance - See Timetable below for topics timetable & venue). The Style
